Don't worry, we are still alive and raiding. After some 25man attendance struggles we decided to push through in 10man last week and rather easily downed 6/7 on Heroic 1 shotting all of the "progression" bosses. We are now once again ranked 3rd on the server and top on horde side. We may be going back to 25mans depending on attendance, we are as always, looking for skilled and experienced raiders. Current recruitment: Tank(s), Healer(s) preferably a Resto Shaman, and Hunters. All other classes may apply though spots on the roster are limited.

Last week we started working on Heroic Shannox, mainly for our strategy and to work out the kinks. Our last few attempts seemed to be going well last week so this week we figured it would be an easy kill. After our first wipe of the night we adjusted some people's positioning and were able to kill Shannox on just our 2nd attempt of the evening. We also killed Staghelm on 25man in just 2 attempts and started working on Rag 25man. Nice work to all. Heroic Rhyolith next week.
-
After a few weeks of raiding we got Ragnaros tonight. This was the first horde side rag kill on the server and it was an extremely fun encounter for the end of Firelands normal modes. We are looking forward to starting heroics and downing Rag again. Good job to all who helped progress and to those in raid when we downed the Firelord. Good work all.

Team Sports is currently looking for competent and active members to fill out some roster spots. We are currently 7/13 Heroic, 3rd on the server, 1st Horde Side, and looking for those who have the dedication to help with our progression. We raid Tuesday-Thursday, 7 Server Time - ~11 Server Time (sometimes raids can go longer) and occassionally on Sundays those same times. Sign on time is 6:45, we like to be clearing trash by 7. We have a guild rank of 25 (max level) and many perks that come along with the guild rank/achievement system. This includes the Kor'Kron Destroyer(scorpion mount), Dark Phoenix Hatchling(noncombat pet), Dark Phoenix(flying phoenix mount), Heirlooms, other guild pets, and achievements for both fish feasts and guild cauldrons. If you're tired of being stuck with the same old progression, feel like your guild is holding you back, like seeing new encounters or hardmodes on a regular basis, and have progression on your mind, don't hesitate to apply.

This is an overdue post from last week but we downed Valiona and Theralion on Heroic 25man this past week. It took us a few nights of working out strategies and then a few wipes on the night we downed it to get it all done. This fight is extremely healing intensive and requires individual execution with some coordination in both the twilight phase and the normal phase. Good job to all those who helped. This puts us at 7/13 Heroic and we remain 2nd on the server. Well done.

Another entertaining guild first for Team Sports putting us at 6/13 Heroic and still #1 Horde Side, 2nd on the server. Quoting a member from our team, this boss, otherwise known as "Dragon Thingy", was a bit of a pain in the butt. There was again a lot of movement coordination to get down dodging both meteors and flame pillars. The encounter is extremely rinse and repeat with the exception of the final burn where Nef uses Shadow Barrage constantly. In our downing attempt we had someone accidentally facepull but kept going and got him down. Good job to all.
-
This encounter is a pain in the balls. The concept of it is quite easy but doing it as a raid is a different story. It all comes down to movement and coordination and despite rocket boots failing on our air phase kiter, we were able to get Atramedes down for our first time in a "not so clean" attempt. Good work to all who stayed alive and didn't let Atramedes hear what you were doing. This kill puts us at 5/13 Heroic and we remain 2nd on the server, 249th in the US, top 1000 in the world, and 3 kills ahead of the next horde side guild. Good job to all.
-
This encounter was one of those ones that the slightest thing could go wrong and everyone else feels the consequences. After a long night of "silly" wipes and seemingly insignificant mistakes we finally got Conclave down. Good work to all that put the time and effort in to getting this boss down. Now that we did we assume it will be much easier for all next time around. Two more heroic bosses were downed this week slightly distancing ourselves from the pack on horde side. Next week we will be going after a few more. Wish us luck.

Another long night of raiding lead us to yet another Horde first and server second kill. This guy was a pain in the ass and it really came down to everyone properly executing their part of the encounter to get this done. Between AoEing like mofos and properly dealing with Aberrations so they don't overwhelm our add tank, we all had a part in the kill. Thanks to all for the hard work and the countless attempts. Hopefully we can get another heroic down before the week is over.
Team Sports. Slayer of Stupid, Incompetent and Disappointing Minions (Fun title you get for 30 mins after downing the boss)

We planned on atleast one heroic boss for our first week trying heroics and ended up not only downing Halfus, but also Chimaeron the next night. We started working a little on him Tuesday, got our shit together, went back in Thursday and were able to survive this nasty encounter giving us our Horde first (and only), server 2nd kill on this 2 headed pain in the ass. Nice work everyone, more heroic content will be downed next week, we promise.
-
After attempting to do the strategy the old way, we called it an early night with very few attempts Tuesday trying to figure out the best way to do the encounter. They changed the encounter so Halfus only took increased damage per dead drake, rather than right when you release the drakes. We read up and saw a few posts and went back in and gave it a try Wednesday Night. Our first attempt we hit the enrage but were rather close and lost a few key dps early as well as had some positioning issues. Our 2nd attempt we downed him with plenty of time to spare and it proved to be a rather easy encounter. This was the first 25man horde kill of this boss and first 25man horde kill of any boss on the server. Our next target is Chimaeron, we plan to down him this week as well.

After seeing the guild was quickly expanding, 3 weeks ago we decided to do some mass recruiting and convert to a 25man raiding guild. In our first week of 25man we were able to clear 10/12 with much ease and only had Nefarian and Al'Akir left to down, by far the 2 hardest encounters. In our 2nd week of 25man we had a few issues getting a full 25man raid going so we weren't able to clear everything and once again recruited some more. This week we had full raids every night, downed Nefarian, and got horde first 25man kill on Al'Akir. Nice work to everyone who helped and good work to the new recruits we picked up. Next week we will start to work on our 25man heroic content. Wish us luck.
-

The weekly target was Nefarian and after many attempts Thursday night we new our next progression night (Sunday) we would be able to down him and move on to our new progression target. Each attempt we got him down further and further until we were finally able to claim victory over our last normal mode progression boss. This was the first Horde Side Nefarian kill and the second kill on the server put us at 2 on the server, 230 in the US, and top 800 in the World. Nice work everyone, heroic modes are next as we continue to farm regular nontargeted progression content for gear.
-

After a lot of work last week on both Al'akir and Cho'gall we knew it would just be a matter of time before we cleared both The Throne of the Four Winds and the Bastion of Twilight. Monday night, our last night of the week we were able to bring Al'akir down after a few late night attempts and the start of the new raid cycle brought us more success as we downed Cho'gall on the first night. Nefarian is next on this list. Nice work everyone.
-
We downed 2 bosses in our first week of raiding which was extremely exciting due to the fact that we had little to no gear and were barely out of heroics. Our second week brought us even more success, whether it was from the few gear upgrades we did get or just getting the right people in there at the right time. We downed Maloriak, Atramedes, Chimaron, Conclave of Wind, Valiona and Theralion, Halfus Wyrmbreaker, and the Twilight Ascendant Council. We also started work on Cho'gall and even though we did not bring him down, we are confident we will in this upcoming week assuming the Holiday doesn't get too much in the way of our progression. These downings put us at 9/12, 2nd on the realm, top 250 in the US and top 650 in the world.
-
After our first week of raiding we showed some great signs of life, making some solid progression in both guild achievements for Heroics and our early stabs at the currently offered raids. We have already attained the Guild Achievement for Guild Cataclysm Dungeon Hero and The Baradin Hold Guild Run. We also started working on Blackwing Descent and have downed the Dark Iron Golem Council and Magmaw. We will continue to work on new content and repeat our success on the content we have already downed. Please wish us luck in our progression.

Our most recent progression target after completing Heroic Lich King was to clear Heroic Halion. This encounter is a pain in the ass and requires a lot of coordination but after some solid attempts we were able to clear our only piece of remaining 10man progression Wrath of the Lich King had to offer. Well done to all of those who were involved with this kill. The players that took part in this last night were Devine, Ionaria, Charley, Jkhan, Paradoxotaur, Serberus, Urmac, Indignation, Slantsix, and Pookstar. Congrats!
-

In our first week of raiding as a guild we a pleased to announce we have downed Heroic 10man LK and full cleared the rest of Heroic 10man ICC. We will be sure to sport our Bane of the Fallen King titles around the server and show off our great achievement. Well done to all and each week you will see more and more of us with such a cool title. Congrats to Urmac, Sersly, Devine, Caltharion, Paradoxotaur, Certifiedstu, Skullclamp (Indignation), Serberus, Ishootumaybe (Charley), and Jkhan.
